Gloria Castellini

Born in Genoa on the 18th of December 1989; after graduating at Liceo Scientifico G. Marconi in 2008 she undertook Architectural studies at Università degli Studi di Genova. During her academic career, she also took part in the International Workshops, in the field of Architecture: “Waterscapes” in Macau (CI) and San Rocco Summer School in Genoa (I).

In August 2013, along with other colleagues, she founded HC2M, starting an intense project able to challenge their skills in various international competition.

In November 2013, she had been involved in a three-month international internship as a researcher at i2a foundation in Lugano (CH) increasing her knowledge on urbanism and on the link between infrastructure and urban development.

 

She Graduated in 2014 with 110/110 cum laude and honor with a thesis on "The linear city in Mongolia", an urban project on the reltions between the new Trans-Mongolian Higway and the future development of Mongolia as an Iper-growth country.

In October 2014, she had been involved in a five-month international internship at COBE Architects in Copenhagen, exploring a different approach and a new way of living in one of the most active countries in the field of Architecture. Since 2014 she collaborates with Prof. Arch. Marco Casamonti, conducting research and tutoring activities in the University course of Architectural composition, for the fourth year students in Genoa.

From 2015 she started false mirror office together with Andrea Anselmo, Filippo Fanciotti, Giovanni Glorialanza and Boris Hamzeian.

She is always looking forward to start new experience in the field of Architecture through academic researches, teaching activities and international competitions.
